AncientCraft is a heritage service providing replica prehistoric artefacts, living history demonstrations, workshops and consultation for museums and media. AncientCraft's goal is to make prehistoric archaeology more accessible to everyone.

Dr. JAMEs DILLEY
& EMMA JOnes

Dr. James Dilley is an experimental archaeologist and flintknapper, specialising in the British Stone Age & Bronze Age. James founded AncientCraft in 2009, dedicating its focus towards educating and reconnecting people to their prehistoric heritage. In 2020 Emma joined the team with her background in photography/videography that has enabled AncientCraft to make prehistoric archaeology exciting and accessible through digital outlets.

Together, we strongly believes the most effective way to engage individuals and communities in prehistory is through the creation and delivery of interactive experiences, using quality replicas and experienced specialists.

"A huge thank you to yourself and Emma for delivering such an incredible demonstration for the British Museum's Members evening. Your living history display was definitely the highlight of the evening and we had so many comments from Members who loved the session you ran. It was a perfect accompaniment to the 'World of Stonehenge' exhibition."
