16th November 2013: Essex Society for Archaeology & History
I was asked to demonstrate various flintknapping techniques for the Essex Society for Archaeology and History on the afternoon of 16th November. This was to be held at the Chelmsford Museum for the enjoyment of the society members. The small audience of around 15 people asked some interesting and thoughtful questions, so the event was deemed to be a success.
After the event the organisers said:
"Many thanks for the demonstration in flintknapping you gave our members. It was very enjoyable, entertaining and educational. The array of items for display were very interesting."
