25th October 2015: Ice Age Island Exhibition

During autumn half-term, I was at the Jersey Museum & Art Gallery in St Helier, as part of a major new Ice Age Island exhibition which tells the story the Ice Age from Britain, Europe and Jersey.


28th September 2015: Podcast with Kim Biddulph

As part of Kim Biddulph's (Schools Prehistory) podcast series on prehistoric stories, Matt Ritchie (Forestry Commission Scotland's archaeologist), Donald Henson (studying for a PhD in Public Perceptions of the Mesolithic at York University) and myself, took part in an episode on Michelle Paver's "Wolf Brother".


29th August 2015: Prehistoric Festival: North Yarrows (Caithness)

To celebrate 150 years of Joseph Anderson who developed archaeology as a discipline in Scotland, I was asked to attend a prehistoric festival on the north shores of Loch Yarrows in Caithness

6th July 2015: Ice Age Island Project - Jersey

During July I was back on Jersey for the final year of the Ice Age Island Project sponsored by Capco Trust and supported by the Tourism Development Fund (TDF). As last year, I was permanently located at the La Hougue Bie working as a Specialist in Prehistoric Technologies


8th May 2015: Stonehenge Volunteer Workshop

I was asked back by English Heritage to do a second lithics workshop for some of the Stonehenge volunteers. This time we worked inside the Neolithic Houses, which gave the event a really authentic feel, which I think everyone enjoyed.


15th April 2015: Salisbury Museum Lecture "The Life and Death of the Flint Axe"

I was invited by Salisbury Museum to give an evening lecture on "The Life and Death of the Flint Axe" based on my University of Southampton BSc dissertation. This was my first lecture at the museum.


4th March 2015: Podcast with Anarchaeologist

I was interviewed by Tristan Boyle from ANARCHAEOLOGIST for his latest Podcast (episode 15) on "Prehistoric Shamanism in the UK".


18th February 2015: Podcast with Anarchaeologist

I was interviewed by Tristan Boyle from ANARCHAEOLOGIST for his latest Podcast (episode 14) on "Experimental vs Experiential Archaeology".


2nd February 2015: Stonehenge Volunteer Workshop

I was asked by English Heritage to do a flintknapping workshop for the Stonehenge volunteers. Having previously contributed to the construction/artefacts of the Neolithic dwellings at the new Stonehenge Visitor Centre, I was keen to help out.


31st January 2015: YAC & Prehistoric Society

I was asked to join a number of eminent archaeologist to present the Stone Age to a group of Young Archaeologist and the Prehistoric Society.


9th January 2015: East Oxford Primary School

The first Living History Key Stage 2 Living History event of 2015, was at the East Oxford Primary School in Oxford for Years 3/4. This was part of their project to learn about the Stone Age.
